Gary brings up a personal problem with his friend, Faith.
G: Gary F: Faith
G: I’ve put on over 10 kilograms in the past few months. The sad thing is I’m heavier than I’ve ever been.
F: To be honest, I noticed that you were getting bigger around the middle. However, I didn’t say anything because I was afraid of hurting your feelings.
G: Thanks. The weight gain wasn’t really obvious at first, but now it is out of control. Do you have any suggestions about the best way to lose weight?
F: Cutting out carbs like bread, rice, and pasta always works for me.
G: I’ve got to lose this weight. I can barely squeeze into any of my clothes.
F: I’m sure that will do the trick.
